Its a bit late for this year, but there are several groups in town that do off-road rides on summer evenings. Also I have a KTM 640 plated that I use for longer trips (mac-pass etc).

The strip on the road at Eagle Plains isn't "emergency". It is a regular Yukon government strip open to anyone and listed in Canadian directory of airports.

Sorry, I should have added my comments sooner but I had the same problem and someone suggested that I should try leaner on the needle (lower the needle/raise the clip) and that seemed to work for me....
