One more data point

I have experienced this same "cut out" issue with two previous GS Adventures (2008 + 2010). In both cases, my dealer replaced the battery, and the problem went away.

No particular vibes at 4200 RPM (just had a tune up). Everything else is standard. Running Tourances at 43 lbs front + rear. Gas mileage varies (with right hand!), but average is about 5.3 L / 100 km.
