I have one set of wheels setup with the 07 and earlier discs and I just recently set up another set with the 08 and later discs.

BMW switched to a nut and bolt in 2007, Which I think can also be fitted to the 06 and 05's. You can get the hardware for both sides from BMW for about $4 total.

Leverage!

You just need more leverage to take the bolt out. Put a 2 foot long piece of pipe over your wrench and the bolt will come out easily
