It was a triple warning to slow down the Dakar coverage always zoom into the racebook to show the current page on crashed bikes. The guys used to racing light enduro bikes without the nav gear etc...

I have the old spot 1 it uses 2 AA lithum batteries mine worked well on everyday for 2 weeks on a recent Tassie trip, so no need to recharge it, just carry spare batteries.

I fixed my speedo problem it was the cable touching the brake disc. i must have hit some savage bumps. I did some sweet tracks from Sydney to the Watagans a lot of dirt up there.
