They are less than 1/2 the price of the OEM unit.

Keep in mind-the reg/rec, stator and fuel fittings are about $300 in parts. With labor, maybe $550 installed.

Anyone ever hear of a fuel pump failing on one of these?

I have a chance to buy one new that was never used, and considered keeping it is a backup.

Dad and I took these with us to Alaska in 2011. They worked wonderfully.

It rested on my tail rack and the two hard bags.

We bought them at Walmart for $40 I believe. Still using them...
