Most local cop-shops carry a spray designed for this same problem, but found in body armor, which can get real funky in warm weather. All of the ones I've used work well in both armor and in helmets.

I believe some of the Rukka gear have double-cuff sleeves, if inserting the gauntlet inside the sleeves isn't practical for some reason.
