The richer the fueling is at the bottom end (to a point) the smoother the lc8 will run. At least on the carbed bikes which have no secondary flies.

Bad idling should not be related to reasonable differences in IMS between front and back (more likely bad tps or not well balanced carbs). Furthermore, I doubt that carb settings are different...

On the suspension front (MT09), I have read somewhere a report that as long as it is adjusted properly, it ain't too bad at all. Haven't ridden the MT myself though.
