The dealer needs to have one in his/her approved order bank. It can take several weeks for that bike to go into production. I just modified an R1200GS Adv for our rental fleet with the Anchorage...

In the USA, The R1200GS's all come with street tires. Most GSA's come with street tires, however "off road" tires can be fitted as a no cost factory option. That option would need to be selected...

Remove the old one by working dental floss behind the badge. Clean the residue with wd40, then prep with rubbing alcohol

I had a similiar problem with a new R1200GSW. It ended up being a micro switch in the ignition assembly. It would draw power when the key was removed. The switch didn't malfunction every time,...
