higher rpms after 1.5" Rox risers r1150gsa

I just installed my 1.5" Rox risers on my 04 GSA and no issues with cables binding and all seemed to have plenty of play. When I crank bike, automatically goes to 2K+ rpms and will go even higher...

My Garmin Zumo 550 charges via usb and the home/wall charger, but doesn't work on the bike/cradle anymore. I took it to BMW shop and put on another Zumo 550 cradle and it didn't recognize it...
