Replacing rotten exhaust

Folks. My 2006 990 is blowing and sucking air causing an horrendous backfire. Despite the fact that ma wee boy just loves the resulting flameson the roll off i think its time for a replacement....

when "making progress" I sometimes powershift up through the box without use of the clutch.
