Always fancied the Buells, but the H-D thing kinda put me off. Glad he ditched those slugs, or vice-versa. I could see the naked version in my future. Hope he thrives.

What will I do? First, I hope I'll recognize when my reaction time/balance and skills are no longer up to the task. Then, reluctantly, I'll give up riding.

Different strokes and all that. If I could find a clean one for not too much money, it could share the garage with my FZ1. Always loved the looks of the ZRX1200R. A shame Kawasaki stopped making...

Love my Vansons. Years of riding and no problems. Mine are older, say late 90's vintage. Mine only have 12" of zipper connection at the rear. Sort of Ok with me, but maybe not enough for track...

Was a BMW owner, so am familiar with the concept. Does anyone make a platen/tank bag set-up for Yamaha's? I searched and looked around a bit and still see these for BMW bikes, but unsure on...

This was back in 1974, no MSF as far as I am aware. My buddy who had a bike rode my new Honda home from the dealer. I then climbed on and under his "instruction", began riding around my...

Yes, that was corrected on the Gen. II Fazers. Perhaps three times the charging capacity as on the Gen. I bikes.

Last bike was a 2002 BMW R1150R. I now have a new 2012 FZ1 and am breaking it in (slowly). The FZ1 is a great bike if you have sporty intentions. Lots of guys use it to sport tour, but I'd say the...

Really don't have any thoughts on this. I am only about a 1000 miles into my Z6's and so far, they are great. Really sticky compared to the Macadam's that were on the bike when I bought it. No...

I broke a leg zipper on my sportpants once trying to zip them over my boots rather than tucking the leg inside my boots as the pants are designed. The repair came back fine. I also had my two...

Final Drive Failures

I don't recall any final drive failures in the R1150R yet from posters there. My very unscientific theory about this is that Roadster riders as a group ride fewer miles than do the GS riders that...
