Happy Trails
They come off very easily. I like the top loaders cram it all in and close the lid...their not fancy just very functional and can take a good hit.

Panniers
I have the Happy Trails 7.5 Tetons on my 650. So far excellent...had a problem with a few welds after two years of use...called up Happy Trails sent me new ones at no cost...upon return of the old...

Labrador
Rode to Labrador via Newfoundland from Niagara on my new Vstrom. Here I am posing on a bridge crossing the Pinware River. A little cool in mid September but fewer bugs.

Check before you buy
Fellow rider..purchased KTM and the bike was denied entry..not sure what model..but it was a no no....recall letter should be free from dealer...it was when I purchased my o8 KLR in New York...

I just unloaded my 08 KLR and purchased a 650 vstrom very nice bike. I tried out the GS 1200...GS 650...the CBF 1000...even considered a new Street Glide...than I road my buddies Vstrom...liked it so...

Vstrom is the best bike for the dollar...not going to knock other brands. If you love to ride..and have great reliability its the bike. Nothing wrong with being frugal...would rather pay cash than...

KLR to Vstrom
Just picked mine up yesterday...matte black with abs....6300 plus tax....very nice bike....different seating position than the KLR...very well put together compared to the 08 KLR...I think I might...
