don't forget to make sure your floats aren't leaking (ie:filling up with fuel). submerge them in water for awhile - make sure they're airtight, check for cracks, pinholes etc.

Heat issues??

i've ridden 10k+miles on mine & never had any issues with excessive heat on my legs.........it does run a 'tad warm (read: cooling temp) on hot summer days (read: high fuel burn effecient). :wink:
