gpsmap 78 questions

Just got a 78 and garmin north america on sd card. that's all working fine. question is when i'm on basecamp it gives me the option of installing the maps onto the actual gps instead of running it...

i don't belive they are ever suposed to be tight. there would really be no way to get them perfectly 1/32" past the bars while tapping it. Just screw them in with alot of loctight to the correct...

The set i put on my klr didn't have a spring and the factory spring woudlnt' work. On the dr i didn't have any problems and they work fine. The wr does have some beastly pegs.

yes. the two side covers go on with rtv. the rtv acts as a cushion while the aluminum cover distributes the impact. The oil filter guard is held on with bolts.
