My opinion as well. If you bought new...you paid a ton of money. Sorry, maybe money comes far easier to many of you, but to have paid $15K or more for a bike, then have to worry about a FD failure...

I found a piece of 1/8" thick hard rubber...

I found a piece of 1/8" thick hard rubber sheeting. Cut a piece and inseted it between the front of the batty box and the battery. Seems to work pretty well. Probably solved my concern.
