Its all stainless interior, end caps and pipe with a brushed aluminum exterior. I am only 90% certain that it uses baffles and not steel wool packing.

Some modern bikes, like my Kawi Zephyr from the 90's, have a latching relay that doesnt energize the headlight until after you hit and release the starter button. They are not hard to wire in.

Skip the HID bulb. They dont provide enough useable light, it all gets scattered. You have plenty of power for a gps, phone and even a heated vest.
