has anyone ever fit a CDI unit from an after 03 640 (the one with the plug on the top) in a pre 03 model (the one with the wires on top)?

I bought ours from the dealer but that was around 14 years ago. (and no I'm not selling them - they are still in use)

All bearings seem to run fine with no Play and no unnormal noise.
The Piston pin bearing in the con rod Shows no Play and the pin runs fine...
