on my 1976 r75/6 i measuring the outside diameter of the lens, where it passes through the chrome trim ring. in other words, the inside diamter of the trim ring.

i measured 185mm exactly.

i'd have to agree my r75/6 doesn't need a floating rotor, i've had the bike for 34 years and drilled disc still runs true. it's not ridden like a modern sportbike can be, with quick throttle opening...

i can tell you that it would be a memorable ride. i'd consider that some of the design points of that race bike unsuitable...
