Exactly. Although I'm going to give the TT seat a go -- I've got a feeling it might be more comfortable than the stock 1 piece, which feels fine until a couple of hours have past!

Don't think the 2 piece Touratech low seat is worthwhile. Website said 1-2cm lower than the stock R 1 piece seat, but tried it on the 'low' setting and I'm not sure it's any lower at all.

Yep -- tried that. It doesn't seem to have any play whatsoever, and doesn't move at all unless the screws on the sides of the barrel are loosened. May have been assembled wrong.

I've got to loosen the screws on the barrel to adjust it (i.e. doesn't appear to have any spring mechanism that allows me to move it to the left to adjust on the fly). Or maybe I'm doing it wrong! :)

Again....if your dealer won't go to bat for you with KTM over a FOAM AIRBOX GASKET used to prevent a known issue, find another dealer!!!! This is a huge red flag for me....

I think KTM chose the 31L for the exhaust side so the distance would be symmetrical on both sides of the bike. I wouldn't say "no" to an extra 7L, though!
