I had a similar issue on an 1100; it ended up being the fuel pump (it wasn't generating enough PSI). Can you pull the injectors and clean them out first? You can also turn the bike over a few times...

By chance, did you clean the screws with carb cleaner? Did you do the same to the ports the screws came out of (use a Q-tip)?

Sometimes gunk buildup can restrict airflow.

Avoid Beemer Boneyards; the rubber is a little too big for the recess and they work themselves off of the plug over time. I had to constantly reset them onto the plug.
