I think You're doing well to talk them down to the point You're at. I just bought a '14, and the Triumph Incentive deal applied to mine too. They wouldn't budge on 'modifying' the kit...I could lose...

Non Issue...

Many bikes for many years, and all put off some heat. I just picked up a new 800XC and it puts off much less heat than the '08 Concours that I just parked. 104 here today...no problem.

All are very good choices...I had a CRF450, and it required constant valve shim adjustments until I changed to aftermarket valves...most I've known of were like that. Also had a YZ450....much more...
