I'm pretty sure it's the same bar ends because the dealer folks didn't give me any extra parts after the install. One end of the hand guard fits under mirror stem, and the other goes on at the bar...

I can vouch for this class. I did it last year and opted for a G650GS. At the time, they offered that along with the R1200GS, F800GS, or F700GS.
