Yeah, I already have a trip planned up the east coast to Maine next month.
The bike seems to be ready to go. The drive line does whine quite a bit, though. Hopefully just the chain/wheel alignment.

Just got my first Vstrom today. I've wanted one of these for over 10 years. Finally got one. It's a 2006 650 with 28k miles. It is so comfortable. I am totally ditching my car.

Water injection might actually be useful in an aircooled engine, as it reduces combustion chamber temperatures, prevents knocking, and even gives it a nice steam cleaning. :D

A gift of sorts

I inherited the Nightster. Nobody died, I just ended up with it. It is not a bike that I would have chosen for myself, but how can I really complain? It has grown on me, and I on it. It will...

Yes, do tell. Is the XL1200R already set a bit higher than a Nightster or 48? If so, it may have some different parts on it, but I don't know.

I'm thinking, If I go carless, I might have to stop eating eggs. I think the vibrations from the Harley's engine, alone, would break them. Or maybe I can just get some chickens.

Clutch in and ignore the engine bouncing off the rev limiter.
It shouldn't be so tight that you can't twist the throttle back, either. Just tight enough to hold the return spring.
