Just find a loading dock at the local supermarket, back the truck up to it, and load the bike. BE CARFULL, don't lift the bike by the rear rack (not a good idea)!:norton

Just got back from a 2 hour test ride after completing my first valve adjustment and throttle sync on the '06 1150 adventure. Of course it took me 6 hours to do both, next time I bet I cut that time...
