I'd say that you'll just have to open her up and check all the splines -especially the flywheel and the gearbox input hub.At best it'll simply be all caked in dust from the lining material.

I guess that the V65 fork legs are larger than the monzas which is a good thing-without a fork brace the smaller ones were very flexy ! The taper bearing conversion is also a very good idea...

The 500 frame will work.They have the shortest swinging arm but as DesertPistons has shown that's the weak point so if you are serious it has to go. They also use cup and cone steering head bearings...

Torched the right hand big end on my little ol NTX a while ago ....
Mystified as to why as the other one is fine and so are the other bearings, oil pump, oil level etc.Just my bad as I was going up...
