I used a BSA/triumph one instead...had to fab a new fixing tab to the frame but that was it -worked superbly even when loaded up to the gunnel's but never looked quite "right ".Now got a G5 one but...

The 500 frame will work.They have the shortest swinging arm but as DesertPistons has shown that's the weak point so if you are serious it has to go. They also use cup and cone steering head bearings...

These engines are pretty simple heron head pushrod 90 degree v twins and have been updated many times over the years.
The only update I've done to this 1983 one is to add the weird rubber pushrod...

Guzzi 650 NTX blowup and rebuild
Torched the right hand big end on my little ol NTX a while ago ....
Mystified as to why as the other one is fine and so are the other bearings, oil pump, oil level etc.Just my bad as I was going up...

As far as I can make out the only difference between the NTX and TT forks is the diameter...the NTX looks a lot taller but the seat is a bit higher and so is the fairing.Of course your forks could...

As far as I know all the Tonti onwards Guzzi's use the same...
