There are many different clutches, but they all basically achieve the same thing. They transfer the power from the Crank of the engine to the gearbox. The do that with friction discs, and plates....

The clutch basket rattle in itself I would call acceptable. On dry clutches it is a bit worse than the wet clutches where it is slightly dampened by the friction the oil adds between the plates....
