Gas

Alamo and Ash Springs have gas. They are both near the intersection of 93 and 375, forty or so miles south of Rachel. I think it is about 150 miles from Ash Springs to Tonopah.

PSR Prices

You would laugh at my set-up....two UDS (Ugly Drum Smokers). Between the two I can usually smoke about a hundred pounds of butts. 48 hours of fun for for 200 lbs.

I went to Bridgeport today. Going through the canyon from Walker to the Pickle Meadows turn-off had a lot of icy spots from the recent snows and sub-zero temps, especially the turns in shade all day....

Hey Jeremy, there is quite a few houses for rent in Cold Springs. I was just out there and Dickson Realty's Prop Mgmt. had a few for rent signs in yards, as well as quite a few private party signs.

You can ride all year, depending on your hardiness. The only limiting factors are snow and cold, most of the valleys and desert areas are rideable even after a light snow...higher...

Rear Shock

If you are doing the rear, I would recommend removing and greasing all of the rear linkage points. I had mine apart and they were all really dry. Doesn't add too much time or effort to the job....
