You should at least change the oil. Its not that hard. I have done it on my GFs G650. You need to take the left panel off to access to oil tank... and get a piece of cardboard to channel...

I would buy the FZ-09. The 800 twin from BMW works well in an ADV bike setup, but is somewhat underpowered for the street.

I have a 14 F800GSA with almost 13k. Engine is buttery smooth and works...
