There's also the hydraulic method. Bolt a plate to the top of the barrel to seal the jug, attach a grease fitting, then pump it up with a big grease gun. Haven't done it myself, but I hear it works.

My '06 chirps. It definitely seems to be clutch related, and only apparent when taking off from a standstill. I think Pyndon has nailed it with his analysis a couple of pages back.

My other bike is a 1983 Moto Guzzi LeMans III, so the 950 feels like a rocket!
