The gen 1 is a big fat pig...gen 2 is even heavier...enough so that I'd be looking at something with a little more weight and alot more engine before I'd consider one...plus the lowered suspension...

Question Fork travel

Yeah, if you liked the America you'll love the scram. Basically the same motor but weighs 60-80 lbs less and is more nimble in the handling dept. I have one for sale in NJ right now...fly n ride?...

I have been thinking about the scramblers for awhile, but haven't ever ridden one...but, I recently rode a 2008 America (same engine), and I was impressed. It was very smooth, and had decent power....

Question Long seat for DR350

I use to have a DR350S, but sold it due to inconsistant starting. They came out with the electric start version not long after that, and I think the kick bikes might have become easier to start also....

It seems like a fair price if it's in decent shape...new ones are what, 2 or 3 grand more ? The market is not exactly flooded with used scramblers, so they tend to hold their value pretty well.
