Question valve problem

Our KLX had one intake valve with no clearance causing it to not start and leak compression. It needed .3mm of shim adjustment to get it in the middle of spec. Anyone seen anything like this?

The KLX will not start, it turns over but doesn't fire up so we check fuel lines, replace the spark plug and do everything we can do to diagnose or fix it before calling Rim Country...

I copied a fellow inmate on the DR350 thread and mounted mine to my handguards towards the middle, hopefully won't get ripped off in a fall. They are really bright, makes night riding more enjoyable....

I had mine connected to the coil, white I wire I think, and the gauge reading was constantly erratic, jumping 1K-3K every second. I wrapped it to the spark plug and gauge is accurate/stable now.
