No, not a snowbird. I moved here with my wife 1 1/2 years ago. I now have my inmigrante card and no plans on returning to the states other than to sell a home I no longer need. Life is good here

Thank you, I slid a 1 1/2 exhaust stud in the hole, installed bolt tightly, Tapped it and it came rt off. I'm going to go get my loaned out meter and test, results shortly.

It happened to me on my 97 XR 650, It was a low speed tip over, I lifted the bike and the lever and spindle end were on the ground. I was quite surprised that it broke like that also.

Also,Check your coils for cracks, My sons 89 GSPD reacted the same way when he bought it. Humidity changes in the air would short out 1 coil.
