Installed mine tonight and scared myself.

I installed my kit tonight. The points on my pump looked good, but I have only had this bike for a few months and don't know if the previous owner had replaced the pump. Looks like he had.

Had the same time 908 front

I had the same thing with a 908 front. Even aired up properly it would start to wobble over 75 mph. Switched to 606 front. Works well for me and it's a Dunlop recommended combo for what that's worth.
