No knots needed, you could use their figure eight lashing, or just about any loops/lashing technique. I have no problem with stock webbing/rope, I guess the whoopie sling bug has not bitten me yet.

Yep sounds like a double bottom with a 1/8" pad in between is all one would need for those temps. I wish that HH Deep Jungle was cheaper, it's cheaper to get a WBBB and buy the 1/8 Pad from A-1 Foam...

That HH Super Shelter must work with the bottom entry, because I think the video on HH site was a bottom entry.
A sliding suspension like on the Yet UQ may be good for that Hammock as well.

Well now I've done it,..ordered a WB Traveler 1.1 Dbl, and an Edge Sil tarp, and my McCat Micro Tarp should get here one of these days.
The traveler will be my winter/snow rig.

Got it figured out, I was trying to attach the shock cords from the UQ to the hammock ropes near the gathered end connection.
My wife said why don't you just put the shock cords over the ridgeline....

My ideal boot would be the Danner Super Rainforest 10" high model, very expensive though. I'm too cheap to buy them, so I mainly use my Danner 8" Quarry's.
