Took the bike to the dealer to see what could be done with the turning inserts and they tried a couple things but could get anything to really work well and have now ordered replacements (warranty)....

As far as upgrades are concerned a windscreen could be considered inexpensive. The windscreen I'm considering goes for about $100 and anythings got to be better than stock.

If that's the case it kind of defeats one of the purposes of the handguards. Protecting the levers but it may depend on the crash. Crash hard enough with any handguard and you risk breaking levers....

Yep I've experienced that also. I've learned to fill the tank slowly or suffer from fuel spraying the seat and everything else. Seems like a pretty snug fit for the nozzle or something.
