Update, after almost giving up, my buddy Bronco...

Update, after almost giving up, my buddy Bronco mentioned the air bleed for the slow speed jet may be blocked & that must have been it. It runs beautifully now with the "normal" jetting.

I just freshened up the top end of my rescue project & put a stock carb from another inmate on it. I took the carb apart to see what was in it & it had a 65S, 140 main & the E needle on the 3rd clip....

The only way to effectively clean SS filters is with an ultra sonic cleaner. There was one in the XRR I bought, I wont be using it. Paper filters are very effective & plenty cheap.
