That's what I did, using the relay that came with them.
High-beam switch on = Rigids + high beam Headlight
Low-beam switch on = Low beam headlight only

Baja = Hot Weather

Dakar would probably be OK for Winter. They seal up good with the vents closed.

Winter here; 50-70 F; 4-5 bars consistently, not much fan, never overheats
Summer here; 90-110 F, 5-bars, lots of fan when slow, never overheats

Also make sure your fuel tank is well vented.
I noticed my pump would run a lot sometimes--noticeably after a hard run.
I had it quit on me one day on the highway and thought the pump had gave out....
