I have an '05 & I'm now using about 1/2 a gear higher. It's less snappy at low throttle settings & rolls on great.

Economy is about the same for normal cruising use & higher for tight & twisty.

There is a 3.5mm Stereo socket as part of the loom.

I'm using moulded Ear plugs ( Earmold )

They work wonderfully as I can use the Music feature and the GPS...

There is a damping circuit in the reader to stop you getting dizzy at every corner. As I recall, it takes about 40 seconds

It may be worth trying swapping your coils around to try to isolate the issue.

Also check that there aren't any scrapes on the wiring loom, It sounds like an Electrical breakdown not a complete...

No, Not at all.
I'm running a 90/90/21 Tyre which although smaller than the 19" does not seem to be any issue.

I can still do stoppies if needed, It seems to "bite in" better in gravel, dirt...

You may also want to check the Rear Park light bulb.
If the Rear bulb blows, the brake light ( also in the Rear Bulb) is used on a low setting.
When you operate the Brakes, the Brake light comes on...

On the 1150 you can insert a spare hose using the Quick connect into the Fuel return line & run the bike & just pump it out into a container..............

I'm not sure if the 1100 is the same

The Ram mount seemed to come loose after a few hundred Kms of gravel

I've used a Touratech Hi Mount & cradle for about a year & it's great........

Expensive but works well
