Reminds me of Burnt Corn AL

Lower Alabama has some cool riding roads. Used to trek up from Ft. Walton beach and ride a lot of those roads. One of our favorites was Burnt Corn. Nice report!:D

Remember the Vulcan Statue?

Thanks for sharing! I was born in Mountain Brook and can remember seeing the giant Vulcan Statue when I was a kid. That (the steel industry) is an interesting bit of history about the Birmingham area.

I met Robert Fulton when I was in the USAF. He was a brilliant man and invented the Skyhook recovery system which was featured in a movie about Viet Nam that I can't remember the name of right now....
