(Apologies for yet another giant post...)

I started this thread three years ago when Dave and I came back from a 22k mile trip on the two 690 Enduros. Each bike has now done about 37K miles each...

Over three years on and the 690 is going well. I love this bike to bits. Just did a 4K (miles) trip round Scandidavia...

Oil - we used the correct oil, but would have made do if we'd had to. You don't need much! BTW it is a probably good idea to take some clutch...

I bought the 690E to travel on so I was very pleased with the 300 mile + fuel range of the safari tank. Now that it's fitted I think it looks great - better than the photos.

This can happen if you use bolts which are too long for the insert - as you tighten the screw it will act like a jack and pull the insert out...

Rick the KTM frame and the Touratech frame are different - it's just the Zega panniers that are the same. Paul would have been talking about the TT one. I'm not sure if it will fit the KTM one and...
