I looked at the cap and I think maybe I didnt push it down enough even though it "locked". Looks like it came out the tiny hole on the movable latch that locks.

Just picked up a new F700gs, Ostra Grey with heated grips, and top case as part of the deal. Very nice bike and I'm looking forward to putting many miles on it.
