83 Head

I have a spare semi-good head. The previous owner gouged the S&^T out of it trying to remove one of the exhaust valve guides. Can this damage be repaired so I can have a good spare head?

The first and last are the same item, as-is the middle two are the same. 16010-MG2-305 looks like the correct part. 16010-MG2-791 cannot locate what it is.

Does anyone have a standard piston and jug with good threads and fins for sale? The condition of the bore doesn't matter going to re-sleeve. I prefer an 83 through 85.

On a side note the only visible smoke is upon start up until it warms up. After that you have to ride behind her to get a whiff of smoke upon acceleration and de-acceleration. It’s not very visible.

Oil Consumption

First off I apologize if this has been discussed before. How big a deal is it if an 83 xl6 uses 1.5 cups of oil in 150 miles? Would you worry about it? Or just ride it and have fun and check the oil...
