I commute on a 249 cc bike. I have encountered riders who would find more HP in the bike the already have if they would operate the machinery as it is designed. This isn't limited to bikes, however.

I now have three fuel and one water Rotopaxes. The only dislike I have is they seal so well I have to vent them once per day in the heat. Filling each tank to the brim would probably negate this fact...

I saw a guy shoot some screws through a used oil filter that he let dry out. It got the noise down to an acceptable level until he could get out of town and then he pulled it off.:lol3
