I'm a stomach sleeper and no problems in the BA bag with a pad in the sleeve.. The fill is plenty for the temps I camp in. More fill also means larger packed size.
I can't let the bag float free...

not even close in comfort and the pad is a pain in the ass. Like comparing sleeping in a rocking chair with a dish cloth to sleeping in a king bed with a 400 buck duvet.
