Glad that worked for you! I recently bought an Alaska Leather sheepskin (start of this year) and have used it on a few long trips on different bikes. It really does make a difference.

The TR-6 valve has an oval base that is attached to the inner tube. The TR-4 is round. No other differences. Either will work for your XT.
