I don't know about the stock seat on the GSAW but I have a BMW high seat on my GSW - 20mm higher at the front, same height at the back. It helps a little with leg room.

My exhaust flap was found seized up on my 18k service. Had it replaced today, complete new exhaust pipes fitted as flap valve itself is not serviceable.
