I hope to pick up either an 06 or 08 next year to replace my 06 I sold in 2013.

Normally, I would agree but I know it's condition and history since I did all the work on it and it has fancy new Delkevic exhaust system.

I put a slightly thicker o-ring on my drain plug and tighten it just a bit past hand tight. Like others have said, check the surfaces and lube the ring.

It works well but I never had the stock screen, so I can't compare them. The tank bag really helps block the wind that whips up from around the steering stem.

Go with the Titanium wrap from DEI. I wrapped my pipes and it helped quite a bit. Plus, the Ti wrap doesn't need to be wet and no itchy arms when you're done.

It reduced the blow torch feeling from the gap between the frame and airbox. The seat is cooler now as well. I think a few more layers of Kevlar would have been better.
