You would really be better to just turn a new stem if you have access to a lathe. Then use the triples, that belong with the new forks. Ignition switch and steering stops are the easy things.

Bearing are all in excellent shape. Less than 10,000 miles on them and heavily greased. The bike might be a dirty pig right now, I am pretty thorough on maintenance.

I rent an argon tank and a 75/25 tank for about 9 bucks a month. You have to pay for the initial fill. Smaller bottles are cheaper on that front obviously, but I have Q tanks (big ones)
