Max BMW just notified my bike has landed in NJ, with customs and delivery 2 more weeks. :D Put deposit down 3 weeks ago, came in sooner then expected.
Build date was 4-29-14

Booster Plug

It's an air charge temp sensor thing. I put one on my RT, they work great. It reads actual outside air temp instead of airbox temp. Plugs into the OE sensor plug that goes to the side of the airbox.

+1 on these choices. I've tried all combos and most brands, heavier in the trans = smooter shifts and lighter in the rear for cooler running temps. Tried and true...............:D

Well with any luck the HP2 will be gone next week. Hate to see it go but the payments are killing me. What a difference a year makes, in 08 I could have afforded 2 BMW's, glad I dodged that bullet....

I had a chace to ride a new GS loaner while my HP2 was in the shop. I too was amazed how much that balance shaft can smooth things out compared to my HP2. Seemed almost electric smooth. They work...

+1 on the BMW charger. I'm on the same OE bat since new, has never missed a beat. I always keep it on the charger, my MFG date 12-05 and still works like new. I know a few people who got 8-10 yrs out...

I just tried it. The one I took off was on its 2nd use and would thread right back on by hand. The new one wouldn't, by hand I could get it almost half way on before it started to bind/tighten....
