Thanks Folks!

Chalk up another win for the inmates.

A good magnet, and some duct tape around the socket/extension made short work of this problem. I wouldn't say the shock was easy to spin, but a bit of...

Sounds easy enough. Does it take a lot of force to rotate it? How difficult is it to align the shock eye to remount?

Lyca- thanks for the specs. Which one is for the shock bolt?

Dredging this up from the past

My rear shock blew (under warranty:clap); however, the tech at my local shop installed the shock incorrectly. The compression rebound adjustment should be on the throttle side of the bike, and he...

Had the rebound dampening circuit go on out on mine, and front end shaking was pronounced. Also had clunking sound on rebound, and bike sat high on side stand. Get it rebuilt and it should fix your...

Does it require a canisters time?

Have some longer range goals and considering these. Does it require losing the evap canister? Also, I have the stock exhaust still and was wondering if there are issues with fuel boiling.

looking at this same route

Googlemaps shows restricted/private roads from Laughlin to Primm to Sandy Valley to Pahrump. I see a road that runs along the railroad tracks up to Primm. Any local info on said roads? Also, what...

Doesn't look like the Sertao is listed in the 2015 BMW line up. Any idea if they plan to release one?

Speed pick up sensor routing?

I realize this thread is over a year old, but thought I'd try and add to the knowledge base. My speedo went bad and the dealer first replaced the instrument cluster (not the problem), and then the...

Just trying to add to the knowledge base

My speedo went out, but the rest of the dash was working. Took it to the dealer and they called KTM, who had them replace the instrument cluster. That wasn't the problem though (3 week wait). KTM...

Why do Osos need bear spray?

Aren't they family?

Great ride report. Makes me realize how small of a percentage of its full potential I use my 990R for.

On the flea bay. A good source for what things actually sell for. SMTs were not a great seller, so despite being rare they don't/didn't move fast.

The small caps are easy to get out. Just slipped a fingernail under it and it came off.

What size/TPI for Tapped holes in triple clamp?

Easy job, one you locate acc2. Regular bladed electrical connectors for 22 gauge wire worked perfectly.

Scorps do this

My 2012 R does this. Tuning suspension just changes speeds where is wobbles.

Tire could be out of round, or balance. Some have had issues with rim strip.

Ask them about an updated 990R!

All this talk about 700-800cc twins (to me) is bizarre. The 990 has the power, is light (for it's CC), and has an awesome suspension. Ask KTM about an updated version to compete with the BMW F800GS...

just bought a new 2012 R

Paid 12.5K OTD. Bike price was 11.4K before fees.

They only go one way in value and dealers should be looking to move disco'd inventory.
